    J, head to Santa Monica (it's the LA you see on TV) LA is a dump. In SM walk The Pier and Sunset Blvd. takes a couple hours and then you never have to go back to LA, unless you're famous. Eat at the Apple Pan on Pecos in SM. It's the original burger joint, inspired ALL others, burgers just OK, you can get a great burger at IN and OUT. Order Animal Style (only the cool people know it, it's not on the menu, PS, I'm not cool, I overheard someone order it, he was cool). San Fran is great. We loved it but over the bridge is Sausalito, except for the National Parks, it the best place in CA, that's my opinion and what do I know........really?, not much. Eat at Poggio, great italian.     Hey Joe, I'm glad that you finally posted some pics. Dad was wondering if we would have to wait till you got home, rent a gymnasium and charge admission like on Wild America.
